Typical Responsibilities (Not all-inclusive):
- Lead large/complex consulting services engagements, including strategy and solution design
- Maintain a high level technical expertise with Symantec products and solutions
- Identify and resolve engagement issues
- Sharing best practices throughout the organization
- Work on complex problems in a complex environment where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in IT management within enterprise environment of at least 5,000 client machines required
- Strong working knowledge of customizing Symantec ServiceDesk 7
- Strong working knowledge of developing workflows using Symantec Workflow solution
- Symantec Workflow solution
- 3+ years of experience designing Service Desk/Help Desk solutions
- ITIL V3 Foundation Certified
- Team player - part of a multi-product design and implementation team
- Enjoys fast paced environment with hard deadlines that may require multi-tasking
- Willing to travel up to 60% of the time
- Valid Driver's License
- US Citizen
Technical Skills:
- A working knowledge of Standard client platform administration, configuration, rights management and file access
- A working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL query languages
- A working knowledge of internet technologies, including IIS, HTML, XML, HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP
- Working knowledge of enterprise application architecture
Other Requirements:
- Passport or other documentation allowing international travel is a plus
- ITIL certification is a plus
- DoD Clearance is a plus
- Working knowledge of scripting tools such as: Windows Scripting Host, KIXTART, PERL, WISE, etc.
- Working knowledge of development environments such as: Visual Studio, Visual Basic.Net, ADO.Net, ASP.Net, and Java
